Let me start by saying I have a love/hate relationship with Fox's. I have a lot of experience with them. They are the only restaurant that I know of that delivers to my house on Old Springville Rd. In a typical month I usually order from them 3 4 times. I really enjoy their food (it's a little pricey), but I don't mind paying a little more for a local small business. Their Stromboli is probably my favorite, but my kids prefer the pizza. The thing is their delivery times are awful. I know it's always going to take at least an hour for the food to get here and that's just something I've come to expect. Last night their stated delivery time was an hour and half and they didn't let me know that...
I 've not received my food yet and i 'm aware that it 's new staff that are teenagers. But i 'm at enraged at the fact that I 've been lied to about service time. At 6:42pm i called in my order for cinnamon sticks and i was told "your order will take about 30 minutes. As I drove here i arrived at 6:53 and payed a couple minutes later after the teenager at the front took 10 minutes to pull up my order. I 've been waiting for a little over a hour and it 's 8:13 as i 'm writing this. Not to mention there is many other issues as far a unclean and unorganized environment, inattentive service and lids that don 't even fit the cups. This is a nice little pizza place a little off the Argo exit. I did an order ahead pick-up for 6pm for 2 medium pizzas. Total came out to $30 before tip, so more than chain restaurants, but I don't mind since it's a small business. I got to the restaurant around 5:45 to pay for my order and to my surprise it was already done! The cashier that night (young person with short hair) was super nice! It seemed like it came right out of the oven cause the boxes were still hot. Got home and dug in. The crust for both was a little thinner than I normally like, but still pretty good when combined with all of the toppings. I do wish the buffalo chicken pizza was a little more buffalo sauce forward, but...
My family LOVES this place! We have eaten here many times, and even had a birthday party here. The food is always delicious, and the arcade keeps the kids busy while our order is being prepared. The baked spaghetti is fantastic, the meatballs are a favorite of mine AND my kids, and the pizza is a hit. Staff is nice and helpful. Anytime I want to see excitement on the kiddos faces, all I have to say is how about we go to Fox 's Pizza for dinner?
