Look, the food here is good, really. However the owner is really NOT friendly and the service, if you are getting it from Robert is the worse and not friendly. It’s a shame because the food is good, the workers are nice but like the reviews say Robert is a terrible miserable person. We were going to do a catering order with them this weekend but will be taking our business elsewhere after my last experience with robert picking up a sandwich. I have to say, the food at this restaurant is delicious. However, the staff could use some training in customer service. On my recent visit, I encountered some issues with a particular staff member - a short, light-skinned Latino man with beady eyes who I believe takes phone orders. I informed him that I was picking up food for my office, and requested that certain items be rung up separately as we would be paying individually. He became confrontational, insisting that they do not separate orders and that I should have specified this over the phone. I ordered on grubhub for the 1st time. The order was never delivered to the.l correct apartment and the guy had the nerve to say oh well when I called $40 for a wrap and a salad I never received. Do not give them your business they have zero customer service experience or hospitality experience. I am 19 years nyc hospitality experience and have never ever dealt w more disgusting people. Not to mention the order was 45 mins late. I’m so appalled at how I was treated.

The service was extremely rude. Despite standing for over 5 minutes and being ignored, the man with glasses behind the counter snapped at me. I walked out immediately. There are plenty of other restaurants on Wheeler with great food and service. While the other employees seemed pleasant, the behavior of this particular individual was unacceptable.
Look at the food is good. The service is absolutely terrible though. For a while I was going there to get my lunch, because they do have really good food and good prices but the owner is just a really rude person and there’s better options literally across the street.
I ordered one of their signature sandwiches and when i got home literally 3 of the 5 ingredients on the sandwich were missing….not sure how this happens when i didn't put in a special order, but at-least they put it on bread
This restaurant is truly amazing, and I have been a loyal customer since I was 18 years old. Now that I am almost 40, I am still impressed to see the same owner here, serving the absolute best dishes.

Amazing! Food is great! Hot food and great selection of sandwiches. Employees are extremely nice and helpful. Very courteous definitely recommend!
