The Oakville Burger is on the menu as a burger, bacon, and soft cheddar. I am guessing the word cheese is what they are going for. It looked like uncooked pumpkin pie filling, had much the same consistency, and tasted so much worse. The twist was it appeared as if it was super glue stuck to the burger. It was absolutely disgusting. I removed the bun and used a fork and extra napkins to wipe it off my burger and the bacon. My wife tasted the 'soft cheddar '. Her reaction was the same. I explained it to the waitress. I asked her what this orange stuff was. She whipped out soft cheddar so quickly that it stuck with me. I said I have eaten cheddar cheese all my life. We always enjoy eating there. This is one of the family's many restaurants around STL, but this place is the Daddy of the all. The other locations try to replicate this restaurant but have failed. This place is the entire package, it is laid back, great food (best wing in the STL bar none), nice layout, corner supports bar. Everyone is super friendly, plenty of TV's, food is excellent, the atmosphere is electric, games for the kids, decently priced, cold drinks, outdoor patio if it's decent out it's all that and a bag of chips.
Had a gift card and never been so I took my spouse here. It was easy to get in and staff was super friendly. My spouse noticed a menu item, hush puppies. I haven't had them in 27 or so years ago I got them. It was better than any I have ever had. The food was plentiful and they didn't skimp on fries either. We will be back again Food: 5 Service: 5

For the 2nd time in a row, I called several hours ahead to pick my wings up at 6. They “lose my ticket” at the host stand so I end up waiting 30 minutes for my food that was ready the whole time.
