The food was outstanding. The coconut shrimp was light, crunchy, and fresh, and the dipping sauce was a delightful mix of sweet and spicy. The braised short ribs were so tender they melted in your mouth—I couldn’t get enough! You must try their onion rings; I guarantee they’re unlike any you've had before. I even placed one on top of the short ribs, over the mashed potatoes, and it was heavenly. To top it all off, I had Frankie’s martini for dessert, which is their version of an espresso martini, and it’s truly a standard to aspire to—just perfection. The food was fantastic, and the staff was even more impressive. We tried the turkey club, which came with the best ranch my friend has ever tasted, along with fried pickles that had the crunchiest and most delicious batter. The pulled pork sandwich featured a divine sauce, while the chicken cutlet sandwich was absolutely to die for—definitely a 10/10. We also had the boom boom chicken wrap, which was so good that my friend forgot to take a picture before digging in. For a Sunday night Frankie's was hopping. This is a good spot to take kids after a day at the beach. Probably one of the best burgers in town. Tonight we had Blue Cheese wedge salad, BLT and famous onion rings. Frankie's also has better options for anyone wanting seafood, steak, etc. If they have the shrimp scampi, ask for it over rice. Excellent. Frankie's is definitely a locals joint that is happy to serve everyone. The only negative on this meal was the service which is normally well executed tonight was slow. It was really good, I order the pickel fries they they finish before I took a pic lol and then I got the California Borger which is come in a bagel.. they give it with some Crispy chip's and coleslaw... so good! You got to try it... and they make it in front of you... And I didn't mention about the drinks... The food was terrible. Meat was cold in the center. Steak was raw, full of fat and grizzle. 3 items were sent back to kitchen, reheated and returned. The response from waiter was sorry, I wish I could do something for you. Enjoy the rest of your evening . A $40 steak I can only compare to Denny 's. Definitely the last time I 'd eat there and definitely don 't recommend.
Every time I am in point pleasant I have to get the roasted clams they are just the best. We also had fried zucchini and the new England clam chowder both delicious. Is definitely a place we always make sure we go to whenever we are in town. Also our waitress Lauren was wonderful.
