"Great food! Got the combination platter with the wet wings. The wings with the gravy on them were quite tasty and the collards were good. Also got a 2 piece chicken and waffle, I'm not a person that cares for waffles, but there's is nice and thin and served with cinnamon butter, was really good."

Had a late lunch, yesterday, at Frank's. First time dining there. The place had a good energy about it and I liked the music they were playing. Lots of rock and roll memorabilia adorning the restaurant. Somebody is a big fan of Prince.My server was friendly and attentive. Food came out pretty quick after ordering.I ordered the fried chicken and waffles with a side of fried okra. Sweet tea to drink. The waffles were absolutely delicious as was the fried okra. Fried to perfection. The chicken, however, was oversalted. I say this as a person who likes salty foods....but this was just too salty for my taste. We have heard of this Frank’s Famous Chicken Waffle restaurant and we had it down on our list as soon as we planned for the road trip from San Jose, California to Phoenix, Arizona and we decided to stop by Albuquerque, New Mexico before continuing with our trip to Denver, Colorado. All I can say is that it’s worth the trip to come to this restaurant. The chicken and waffles are delicious. The server and the owner are friendly. In fact, the owner came out to greet and chat with us as she moved to Albuquerque from the Bay Area. We were the first customers waking into the restaurant on that day. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone to come and try their fried chicken and waffles...
They gave us fresh popped popcorn while we waited.The parking lot is small. Be prepared for a wait, for there are only about 10 tables/booth and 3 bar stools. The food is alot for the price and good. The staff are very nice and friendly. The sodas are in 16.9 ounce bottles, but the tea comes in big 32 ounce jars. The fried mushrooms look like they are the frozen kind. The corn bread muffin was very sweet. The chicken tenders were very juicy, but the coating had to much pepper in it for me. The fries had an interesting coating on it. The coleslaw comes in a pretty big bowl.
Went in today 1/26/2023. Spacious seating. Had my parents with me. Staff was friendly and the food was very good. The catfish in particular was crisp and yummy and we had it in a po boy and by itself. The waffles are tasty and a bit thin with cinnamon butter and crispy wings. They really nailed everything down to the fried pickles and my parents even fumbled their order and the staff missed no steps. Definitely recommend Réservez une table maintenant
the 8 advertised famous plate and the junior plate, the 3 wings is a waffel the wings were crispy and tasty, and the offers were juicy and thick. the waffels are thin and the perfect texture to accompany the shun. I also love the zimtbutter, and although that was not as spiced as I like it myself, the louisiana hot soße on the table was fantastic personal was also amazingly friendly! highly recommended to come here.
We ordered the loaded fries, the bun and wad, and the shrimp peak. All of them were good, but the fries were the standout. The bun and wad were properly cooked, but the wad seemed out of place at a waffle house and the bun was a bit too simple. The Po-Junge sandwich was decent but tasted more like a banh mi than a Po-Junge. The fries were loaded with mac and cheese, bacon, chicken, sauce, and green peppers.
This place is amazing! Everything was delicious! I ordered the 6-piece meal with 2 sides. It came with a tasty cinnamon butter and maple syrup. The presentation was great, and the mac and cheese, greens, fried mushrooms, and red beans and rice were all very tasty. I would definitely go back. The staff is friendly and made sure everything was perfect.
First time visiting and definitely will return Nice little place to get an affordable bite to eat. The chicken and waffles were great!! Good portions, and the flavor was wonderful. Not a bad price either. Felt like the cost to food ratio was very reasonable. Fast and friendly service, and didn't have a long wait. Definitely recommend. Very good food. The waffles are thin but delicious because they are made with a special type of flour. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the next day. Will definitely be back again.
