5+ STARS! If you are looking for authentic NY Style Deli sandwiches here in Phoenix, come to FRANK’S! Founded in 1982 by FRANK (see photo) the establishment is now run by his sons. We happened to dine here on a Saturday and had a brief conversation with his older son Gustavo (pictured with his mom hoisting a HUGE extra long sub with younger brother) who personally made our delicious Pastrami sandwich which came with a pickle spear. We added potato salad which tasted homemade and was very tasty. We also were impressed with the variety of snacks, drinks, and desserts that they sold in their minimart /convenience store type establishment. Free parking onsite. The owner and staff were pleasant, personable and efficient. The food was very much like a sandwich from the deli's and bodegas in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. This store made me very nostalgic for New York and it delivered in authenticity with the pastrami sandwich that I ordered. Overall a good spot for a New York style sandwich.

This place is amazing! The friendly staff, the excellent food and quality selection is fantastic. If you haven’t been here, you really need to. This is a hidden gem ? to be certain. Try everything, the portions are outstanding. Just be aware… food coma is a possibility! ?

Fantastic sandwich shop and deli market. True to their NY roots. Great family business that they are so friendly and happy for all their customers. I enjoy going there and it gives me the feeling of being back East.Definitely a great find in Phoenix!

This is hands down the best you’ll find!! Growing up my dad had a little Italian deli and this place brings back those childhood memories. So good always fresh, give them a try but be warned nothing will ever live up to Franks Italian subs ?

East coast feel as soon as you walk in the front door. A little market that has some fresh and tasty sandwiches with that New York touch. It's definitely that little hole in the wall type of spot.
