Freckleduck - Réservation de table

Freckleduck is a small humble cafe located on the conner of Malop street in the heart of Geelong. With limited seating out the front that provides shade by umbrellas, from the outside the vicinity looks to be of a decent size but the interior is much smaller than expected. With a few larger communal tables in the centre, bar stools along the window with finally little tables for 2 filling in the rest of the space nicely, craft a cosy comforting environment.   After a morning exploring the lovely scenic Eastern beach we where in need of a refreshing lunch and Freckleduck seemed to be a popular spot as people where occupying the seats out the front whilst a few others where enjoying this...

Je suis allé ici avec des amis aujourd'hui, je voulais vraiment venir ici parce que la nourriture avait l'air incroyable. Nous voulions nous asseoir à l'extérieur, nous nous sommes assis à une table que certaines personnes venaient de partir. Si l'un des employés a éliminé les trucs de la table, elle a continué à descendre aux menus et nous avons dû lui dire qu'elle voulait essuyer la table parce qu'il était toujours sale parce qu'il était toujours sale des invités précédents. Même comme elle est dérangée, elle a fait un emploi de demi-aries, elle n'a pas semblé comme si elle voulait être là. Ensuite, il fallait un moment jusqu'à ce que quelqu'un d'autre soit sorti et prenait nos commandes....

Went to Freckleduck on recommendation of a friend while visiting Geelong. From the moment our large group of two families with kids walked in we felt unwelcome with a lot of awkward glaring from staff, especially the chef. Despite a number of our group greeting staff with "Good mornings" we failed to get a single hello or smile from any of the staff members. Yes we were a little noisy - that's kids for you - and yes we had a hungry group of 8 people. We did order coffees (which were ok) but left without ordering breakfast as we clearly weren't wanted in the cafe. We took our business just up the road to Cafe Go where we were welcomed by warm staff and an even warmer open fire. Breakfast, cof...

Service: - personnel amical mais lent Douleur Nourriture et boissons: - commandé un moka et un croissant de - Croissant a goûté bien, mais un peu dur - Le café était bon Douleur Total Sentiment: - Beau déco - J'ai aimé à quel point le café était brillant, là-bas - Compte tenu de la taille du café, il ne se sentait pas serré

Had been meaning to call in to Freckleduck for ages, and we did and where not disappointed. Good to get away from the large shopping centre for a good coffee and sweet treats. Friendly staff, prompt service, a choice between small tables,stools or a long table, music was a tad loud but that is just personal taste!

Brunch du dimanche matin. Je pensais que nous essayions de trouver une table gratuite, mais il y avait beaucoup de place. Siège sur la table municipale centrale. Le personnel était merveilleux. La nourriture était vêtue rapidement et bien. Les services étaient généreux. Réservez une table maintenant

Highly recommend the smashed avocado it was delicious! The daily special looked wonderful too. Had fantastic service, cafe was lovely and warm (cold and windy outside) and very welcoming. Will definitely return next time we visit Geelong.

Great coffee, food ok but expensive. My husband really did not enjoy his milkshake! Said it was waaaay too healthy! I went in summer it was VERY hot and lots of flies ewwww.
