We stopped by after a football tournament with a bunch of 11-year-olds, and I wanted to give them a taste of the old-school diner experience. I ordered the patty melt, a club sandwich, grilled cheese, and a breakfast dish. Everything brought back memories of how things used to be. Great job! I highly recommend this place. It's not the most beautiful spot, but if those walls could talk, oh the stories they would tell!
Amazing food. The outside may not be appealing, but the inside is clean and great food. $10 for 3 pancakes, 3 eggs, 3 sausage patties is tastier than any Waffle House. Yeah I said it. Open 5am 3pm, get here early and munch on amazing diner food platters. Hard working and friendly staff!! Busy yet attentive to all their clients. Would definitely come back, if I lived in the area. It's quite a drive from Gage Park.
I love old diners, and this one is the only one I l know of in the area. Good food and a diner smell that will hang on you for days afterwards. Service was great, but it's a small place with a tight counter for seating. Happy we finally stopped in to check it out after driving by so many times.
I found this place on google it was the greatest find soo far this year!! My breakfast was cooked perfectly the staff was really friendly. I will definitely be visiting again! P.S. The biscuits and gravy are to die for Réservez une table maintenant
I knew the owner for quite a few years really appreciated everyone there no matter who the waitress was or who the cook was. Even though I knew most of them by name it was the same good food that I always loved
From your neighbors in the middle state! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We drove all night to Elmhurst and really needed coffee, comfort and food. Now we have a place for the next time!
Shake was great, service was awesome friendly. The food was fantastic. The meat lovers omelet I had was huge and packed to the brim with meat. 100% will go back when in the area.
