Visited today with my partner and parents as halfway between our 2 locations. Had a great meal at another brewers fayre last week so expected the same. Well what a disappointment. Before we had sat down another couple had warned us that some food was unavailable. Whilst waiting for our meals another table was having trouble with their orders and by the time they had their meal served we had already got halfway theough ours even though they ordered well before us. They took 3 attempts to get their food right which they didn't achieve and gave a refund. Which we heard very excuse as there was only the 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. We decided to order from the main menu rather than the discount menu and the meals came the same as the daytime menu. 6 pound more for a side salad on each of the 3 meals and 6 pounds more for one slice of bacon on another compared to the daytime menu. Drinks were very expensive but refillable. Infortunately the drinks machine machine refused to work.and the staff said they where to busy to fix even though there was barely anyone in the restaurant. The food was ok but nothing special. My partner and mum ordered a pud for afters which we waited 30 minutes for in a restaurant with no one else in as every one had eaten and left. After visiting the bar to question the wait we were promised our puddings but they never materialised as after another 20 minutes and upon visiting the bar again they admitted they had none in stock. One refund later and zero apologises we left. Very disappointing and was hoping to make this a regular visit due tonits location. Parents said they would never visit or use brewers fayre again.
