Extremely bad service. The landlady always had a bad face. I ordered a bowl of red bean glutinous rice balls and saw her pouring it from one bowl into a new bowl. I asked her why she was doing this. She said that the ones from the morning were all from today. Is this leftover food? Where's the one for me? Why don't you give me new ones if there are ones that can be used to install red beans directly? And the portion should not be too small, just a little bit of beans! We had Dinner with the family last night here. We ordered their bento meals, and they were all delicious. While waiting for our food, they were kind enough to allow us to sample some Asian snack delicacies like beef jerky, dried mangoes, and pork floss, which, mind you, taste fresh and homemade compared with store-bought. We ended up buying a pound of tasty beef jerky and pork floss.We also loved the ambiance as it was casual, and everyone was friendly at the store.My husband and I agreed that it reminded us of the street food served at Raohe night market. This hidden gem will be our go-to place for Taiwanese food and snacks.
peacefully enjoying my stuff when i see this lady come out the store screaming at a group of middle school girls. She’s going on and on about some stuff creating more of a fuss than the girls were. Restaurant just let this woman in a black tesla w her two kids go off on them without checking her. She then goes out to confront the middle schoolers parent? if you can’t control ur anger don’t go out and if this is happening at ur establishment just kick the lady out next time. So unnecessary and a mood killer. wouldn’t be surprised if she knew the owners seeing how comfortable she is yelling like that.
Ladies who work there are friendly. Unfortunately they use some cheap flimsy cups for drinks. Once I put the straw in the drink I ordered, tea leaked all over my cup holder in my car. I returned and told them what happened and got another cup with no issue. However, it LEAKED again. Unbelievable, Are you kidding me? The price they charge seems higher than other places. Like Over $10 for popcorn chicken and over $6 for a drink. At least provide a decent cup that won't leak. Won't be back, no one wants to deal with leaking drinks again!!!
Good place to grab a quick bite. Only tried the food this time. The rice bowls looked clean and portion was pretty big. But pork chop was pretty dry and the braised pork was too peppery. I did enjoy their popcorn chicken and fried tempura though. Crispy and flavorful.
