Fresh Local Ice Cream

My family and I were visiting this area from out of town and we went to one place to get ice cream before choosing Fresh Local Ice Cream but they were wayyyyyyy too expensive and that 's how we ended up here. The staff was friendly and quick even with a line out the door. There are a few tables inside, not many because it is a small place, but there are lots of sit down areas outside. The ice-cream was phenomenal and the waffle cone was the 'icing on the cake '. I had butter pecan and it definitely hit the spot. The cones must be made in house because they were hot and fresh like they had just come out of the oven. Either way, you couldn 't go wrong even if they don 't make them fresh becaus...

My daughter (3) and I stopped by this afternoon for a quick, cold treat. EVERYTHING about the experience was awesome. The young lady working the counter was amazingly friendly, great indoor/outdoor seating, and an excellent selection of flavors. This is definitely our new go-to ice cream stop!

Yummmm!!! Already picked the next flavor to get. Banana pudding! Loved the strawberry cheesecake, peach, cookies and cream and root beer float was good too. That's just the opinion of me and my hubby! Great ppl who always seem to be in a good mood! #freshlocalicecream #glenwoodave

The ice cream here is fantastic! The sundae was really delicious. It would be great if they offered a one-scoop sundae as an option. Also, be sure to ask for whipped cream and a cherry on your milkshake, as they are only available upon request according to management. Réservez une table maintenant

Pecan butter ice cream waffle cone is so yummy! The feel of this place is so local and the seating outside by the main street is a welcome. Btw we also had the chocolate brownie cup and it was average.

What happened to the green and white polka dot paper bowls featured on your website? You put my to-go sundae in a flimsy plastic drinking cup, and it turned into a complete mess!

We had the pleasure of getting ice cream from the truck at North Hills. Boy was it a treat! So creamy and fresh. The blueberry flavor was perfect.
