My partner and I decided to take advantage of the scoopon available at friends where they currently advertise a 5 course truffle degustation. We were extremely excited going into this food experience as we love truffle and how the simplest of dishes can become quite sophisticated and complex. Throughout each of our 5 dishes we experienced little to no truffle. I really don’t know how to describe the experience because I’m mindful that this is someone’s business and it’s clear they have been working in the industry for a long time... That’s probably why this restaurant is totally missing the mark for me: there’s nothing current about it. The food was weird. My barramundi fillet came with a crumb on top and was served with a purée of capsicum and some finely diced tomatoes. I ordered a side of spinach and mushrooms. It came baked with cheese! Visited here for the first time and definitely lived up to expectations, stylish and modern restaurant with exceptional food from the eight course tasting menu with paired wine. All the staff were attentive and very friendly with excellent knowledge of food and beverage. By the end of the eight courses we were bursting at the seems. Having been locked up from covid9 my wife and I booked our 30th wedding anniversary dinner to get out and about. Well I was absolutely satisfied 100% the service and the food was fantastic. Couldn’t find one flaw at all. Just a lovely place for dinner and great service. Will be back again definitely. Wine list is excellent. Not too big and not too small.
very disappointing experience! the service and eating were very mediocre. for $185 per person only for eating! we expected something more unforgettable. everything tasted ok, but certainly not worth this amount of money! I now understand how we were able to make a booking in such a short time!

we have in the private room that is beautiful. the whole food was delicious and well balanced. I enjoyed the duck breast especially.
