What a dreadful experience. There was a political meet-and-greet underway outside on the patio while we came for an adult evening out. We knew that the menu was not what it used to be under previous ownership. It was extremely limited, a bar menu really. But, we decided to have dinner anyway. In spite of the fact that the dining room was loaded with very shallow people making racket and NONE wearing a face mask while standing or moving through the restaurant. It was impossible to get the attention of staff. We, literally, had to get up and go into the kitchen to check on our food. Salad dressing on Caesar and BBQ bowl were big disappointment. Waiter did not hear our order or did not care. Di...

This venue is cute and cozy but the parking is very limited. You have to park on the side street unless your fortunate enough to get one of the 10 spots right next to the building. In my opinion, it's the perfect date night spot! My issue is that they do NOT have any mimosa specials for brunch. I made the mistake of ordering a carafe of mimosas without inquiring about the cost. After the fact, I discovered that when you order a carafe of mimosas they simply charge you for a bottle of the cheapest champagne which is $36 and then they fill the rest of the carafe up with juice. Had I been informed of this in advance, I would have just ordered the bottle of champagne without the juice. When we i...

Came here for drinks at 7pm, relatively early for a Saturday night and to our surprise it was pretty empty. Thinking this was perfect for our party of 9 as we were meeting for a friends Birthday we took a seat at the booth directly in front if the bar. The server was very nice but clearly overwhelmed as her help was lacking urgency or motivation. (1server/1 buss boy) There were three other events being hosted at the hotel that night and it was clear the restaurant was understaffed. We waited over 40 minutes to be acknowledged and another 30 just be served some, not all of our drinks. Unfortunately those drinks were not made correctly. At this point we were over it and our now hour and a half...

Our party of 7 had a late morning reservation for breakfast, celebrating a family event. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived (nor did it become busy during our meal). Our meals came our in pieces those who ordered pancakes received them (and nothing else accompanying sides not delivered at same time) 10 min ahead of those with egg meals. For one side of eggs, we had to remind 2 different waitstaff on 3 occasions, and they did not finally arrive until everyone had finished eating. Unfortunately, the unapologetically poor service and uncoordinated food delivery were a major frustration on what should have been a relaxing and festive occasion. When I reached out to the restaurant later,... Réservez une table maintenant

Nice, inviting ambiance but after the 1st impression it starts to fail. Appetizer was ok but the wine was very good! Chicken entree tasted like it was previously prepared and reheated! Desert was nothing special and tasted as though it was prepared at a cheap bakery. Our waiter was very pleasant but seemed new as he kept running back to kitchen to ask questions about the menu. A red headed young women announced loudly the restaurant was closing early even though we had just received our entree and at least 10 other customers throughout the restaurant. Turned one couple away because they has to 'clean the bar '! Never had I heard this before in my 60+ years of dining out! It 's a beautiful lo...

We have come here annually on a Saturday night in June for dinner before a show across the street. The service has never gotten any better over many years. Last night we arrived at 5:45, knowing it would take a long time to get our drinks and food. The restaurant was empty save for two people having a drink at the bar. Our food finally came at 7:20 and we had to leave for the show at 7:35. Never again. Beyond awful. Oh yeah, and the temperature inside was about 55 degrees!

We had a reservation at 6:00. We arrived (apparently by the back door) and waited for someone to approach us. After several minutes a patron asked if we needed help. She directed us to the front of the room. We were greeted, fro, behind the bar, and told we could sit anywhere. Sort of an odd experience. Our server was darling and our food was delicious. They had just transitioned to a new chef. Limited menu.

The quality and service at this restaurant has declined markedly since it was bought by a Chicago hedge fund. The place is chronically understaffed and the quality is suffering. It is across the street from a major university so they have a somewhat captive audience. But don't say we didn't warn you! There are great choices within a 5 minute drive. Very nice location across from SMU and very curtious wait staff, but the chicken in the Caesar salad must have died from old age and was as tough as any I ever experienced; and the baked white fish was baked and reheated from many days ago. Hands down the worst dining experience in Dallas I have experienced.
