Chicken sandwich was great hot. A little expensive for only a sandwich at $11.49. Getting fries and drink was an additional $4.99. Cashier was helpful. All tables were dirty. They don't wipe after customer finishes. I did hear alot of comments from male workers joking around about previous customers which was very rude. For instance he says a customer asked for onions then he mentions he doesn't even like onions so could he have them grilled? Both workers were making comments about that interaction amongst alot more rude comments. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. I recently had my first experience at a FtC, and it was a pleasant one. On my way home from Oakbrook Center Mall, I decided to try something different and found this place while browsing on Google Maps. It’s a nice departure from the popular boneless chicken chains like Chick-fil-A, PDQ, and Cane's, offering a unique Nashville-style twist with a focus on spice. The food quality is great and the prices are reasonable. The customer service was refreshingly down-to-earth and the venue was clean and well-sanitized. However, since the nearest location is over 25 miles from my home in Beach Park, I'm not sure how often I'll be able to dine in.
The spicy butter chicken sandwich is hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve had from anywhere. The mac cheese was great. The staff was super friendly and informed me as I ordered the “hot” heat level that it was made with ghost peppers. The medium heat level was spicy but not super hot but I can handle the equivalent of mango habanero levels of heat, if that comparison helps. Didn’t take pictures before I inhaled everything. 110% worth trying and worth having over and over. My wife and I both ordered the tenders plate. She chose the medium spice level while I opted for hot. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two! The chicken was of exceptional quality, and the French fries, fried in beef fat, were absolutely perfect. We also tried the Messy Fries, which were fantastic—every bite was a delightful mix of flavors. The meal is definitely worth the price. If you can, dine in so you can enjoy some free refills to help with the heat. It’s well worth it!
Take a look at the pictures to see just how small the sample was. If the customer service were improved, this place could easily earn a solid 4.5 stars. The chicken was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection—definitely a bit pricey but absolutely delicious. The fries were also fantastic, cooked in beef tallow, which added to their flavor. Just keep in mind that for $4, you only get about half a handful of fries. Also, be cautious with the spices—they pack a serious punch!
Meaty piece of Chicken that actually has some overflow off the Brioche Bun. The toppings are paired and rationed perfectly on the sandwich, so that you get every bit of taste of your chicken.
