"Currently in Valdez, Alaska on business. Went into Fu Kung for lunch, ordered their Pho beef for lunch. Broth noodles were delicious, the beef meatballs were only so so! My colleagues ordered chicken and shrimp fried rice which they both liked. Will be in Valdez for the week and will follow up with additional dishes."

We rolled into Valdez and found that Fu Kung was right behind our hotel. We ended up getting the 007, Polar Bear, and a spicy crunch roll. For 2 people, the 3 rolls really hit the spot and came with a great spicy soup. We knew we'd be hungry later and got an order of pad Thai to go. The servers were kind and quick, and we had a great time relaxing here after a long drive. In the evening when we broke out the pad Thai, they had carefully put the peanut sauce and the hot pepper sauce in separate containers, so it wasn't soggy or separated. The one order was enough for both of us to eat.

Like one of the comment I saw, I'm surprised Fu Kung has 3 stars. Valdez is a fairly small town with a couple of restaurants, we don't come here often, but eating in these restaurants always take us back to past memories. I got the chicken friend rice and sushi, (don't remember the name), and it was delicious!! Our waiter was absolutely nice and it was his first day so he was very attentive and caring. The food was also brought quickly to our table so that's a bonus. Come here if you have the chance!!

One of the few Asian restaurants in town. Unfortunately, food was expensive and bland. The service could use some work too. They're a bit brusque. We had lo mein. The serving size is enough for 1.5 to 2 meals. However, it was very bland and not authentic at all. I can make much better at home. They didn't have fish even though it was on the menu either. They do have free hot tea if you ask for it.

2.5 really was like they did not have fresh ingredients. I had the seafood fried rice. Salmon in it was old. It made a turd but was just not wowed. The Mongolian beef was tasty. Sweet and sour chicken the veggies in it Wa the best part. My sons rice was something off he didn't like it? Water to make perhaps? Potential
