Fudo Japanese - Réservation de table

I ordered the agedashi tofu, assorted tempura, ikura nigiri, toro nigiri, and unagi nigiri, along with a deep-fried banana with ice cream for dessert. The agedashi tofu was decent, but I've definitely had better. The tempura was also just okay; while I've had superior versions, I appreciated the thickness of the vegetable slices. Many places cut their veggies too thick, resulting in a soggy texture, but that wasn’t the case here. The nigiri was quite good overall; nothing stood out particularly, but the ikura was delicious as always. The dessert, however, truly impressed me. All the staff there are such nice and wonderful people which made the experience of going to Fudo so much more meaningful! All their fish and seafood are SO fresh and amazing! You guys are the best! Mr. Chef you were the highlight of our day and your passion for food and kindness definitely shines through. You and your whole team deserves it all.

We sat at the sushi bar and rather than ordering from the menu, asked Chef Shingo to create our meal. The quality, creativity, and service is outstanding!! We both felt like we went on a trip around the world! Easily the best sushi in Victoria!! We will be back many times over!! THANK YOU!! XO

This is the best Japanese restaurant in Victoria, and possibly in all of BC or even Canada. The value for money is outstanding, especially considering the quality. Chef Shingo's sushi is as authentic as it gets! As someone who is Japanese and comes from Japan, you can trust my opinion on this. Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is incredible, comparable to the places I visited in Japan. The negative reviews here are completely off the mark. The service was outstanding, our food arrived promptly and all at once, and the quality and presentation were remarkable. I will definitely return!
