We went here for lunch on Sunday. We had not been before, but had heard good recommendations for it and knew that it was a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. My wife and i, very much food and wine lovers, went with a friend who was visiting. We all selected different entrees and main courses. Everything was wonderful, but a squash soup with chestnuts and foie gras was perhaps the standout. You select your wine, not from a menu, but from their wine room when the available wines are displayed, described, and the prices are stated. We had one of our favorite wines from the area, a St. Jean du Barroux L'Argile.Every course was terrific and, of course, the cafe was good as well. Not inexpensive, a...

My wife and I visited Gajulea based on a referral we got from Chateaux Pesquie (good winery in Mormoiron.) It was a very high quality diner with a perfect table on the terras with a wonderful view. How the menu works is a tiny bit complicated, but you can choose the mains and you get the starter, dessert and amuses. And you can pick your own wine from the cave/cellar. Very innovative! We choose among other the Pigeon (very very tasty) and the lobster salad (homard) which was also very good. Prices of the menu were in line with the quality of the food, with drinks and wines at very reasonable prices! If you are looking for a premium dinner this is a very good and special spot!

We went to Gajulea recently (Dec 2016) on our hotel's recommendation as a restaurant that served game. Which it wasn't other than a lonely rabbit on the menu. So I will not fault the restaurant for that. Pros: good food and one the best bottles of Chateauneuf-du-pape (Domaine Albin Jacumin) I've had in a very long time. Cons: Unexpectedly pricey. We were the only table in the restaurant and decor left a lot to be desired (IMHO.) The waiter was quite abrupt and the meal felt rushed. Overall not a great experience but perhaps because we went there with certain expectations that it didn't live up to. Réservez une table maintenant

We have had the enormous pleasure of visiting this restaurant over a period of more than 5 years. Madame is helpful, inviting and always ready to advise if needed. Monsieur Chef is a welcome sight as he tours his restaurant for a chat, wearing his Provençal hat! The food is exquisite and often surprising in the interpretation of what is on the menu. Choosing wine from the cellar, seen through a windowed wall in the restaurant, is a joy. All-in-all if you want a cosy meal, a romantic meal, to eat with family and/or friends this is THE place. Michelin star stay away - it's not needed!

It was just two years ago when I visited this gem of a restaurant with my friends from Chene Bleu winery whom I was staying with. It was a short 20 minute drive from the hilltop winery on a cool, but not cold winter night. We were all hungry and thirsty and the team at Gajulea were up to the task. Excellent service, Terrific cooking. Awesome wines. This is a gem that is as good as most MIchelin starred places at far less than their prices.

A wonderful place to spend Sunday lunch. Choosing your wine from a actual wine cellar makes it feel very special. The English translation of the menu was poor( hopefully they fix this.) Views are amazing and the service is fantastic. The chef coming to see you at the end of your menu makes it an extra special experience. Highly recommended

A small, family-run restaurant with a beautiful view over the Provençal hills - especially enjoyable in the spring and summer when one can eat outside on the terrace. Wonderfully inventive, delicious dishes to please any palate. And, they are very accommodating for special diets.
