Gambrinus used to be an amazing place. I have been coming every year for a long time. Service has been deteriorating for the last few years. Tonight my husband and i came here for just to special dishes. They had none of them. The wine was off, the chips I ordered i never received, i cancelled the salad as it hadn't come after the tapas and mains had already come. The sepionet had not been cleaned. Very, very disappointing. I hope it gets better.
Visited last week with my two sisters, we ordered a platter of Iberian ham and cheese unfortunately this was not available but they had an alternative platter, we also ordered ham croquettes, Camembert on toast and tortilla the tortilla was not as expected but all were very tasty. The service was prompt our only niggle was we asked for bread and ice and non transpired. Would certainly return.
if you visit the area and have a good meal, do not stop trying the tapas of the restaurant gambrinus. is located in the center of villajoyosa, opposite the gas station. I wouldn't know to tell you that this is better, if the temperament of vegetables, egg stirring, potatoes and ham, or the great variety of mountaineers.

Came in here with family and had a table on the terrace. The lady who waited on our table was so friendly helpful. We had some lovely tapas with a nice bottle of Rose wine perfect.
a good bar to try the fish of the bay and the typical tapas of the area. besides enjoying good beer. In the interior there is air conditioning and in the exterior you can smoke.
Food was ok, but service terrible. Waited half an hour for the check, had to ask for it several times!! Not a place where touritst are felt welcome stay clear of this place.
