This is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in Washington state and I have eaten at many. Not a single dish I had was not 5 stars, the carrot cake was so good I forgot to take a picture, it was literally the best carrot cake I have ever eaten in my life, I am convinced even someone who doesn't like carrot cake would love this one. At first I was skeptical about the Dijon sauce on the lamb chops but it complemented them better than any other chop sauce I have had, they were tender, perfectly cooked to medium rare and delicious. Visited for the first time on April 11 for the Wednesday/ Thursday night couples dinner deal. We had steamer clams for the shared app, blue and Caesar salads, and pork chops and top sirloin for our entrees. For drinks, we opted for thyme, lemon martinis and a couple glasses of red wine. The martini was stellar. Our server was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. From start to finish the service was impeccable. The clams were a delicious way to start the meal , accompanied by fresh, warm sourdough bread and infused butter. Probably a local icon but seems dated and worn. Limited menu choices. While the food was good, feel like it was a bit overpriced. Wait staff courteous and prompt. The seafood fettucine had bay scallops instead of the larger ones which I was looking forward to, I should have asked...2 shrimp, about 10 small bay scallops, clams maybe 2 and did I even see any crab? nope. So for $43 it was way over priced. Burrata appetizer was tasty but the baguette it came with was hard and definitely not freshly toasted. I'd not go back but would go again to Cynara which was way better and original dishes.
We had an outstanding experience dining at Gardener’s last night. Our food was excellent! We enjoyed everything we ordered, including the wine, and dessert was the home run! Service and ambiance were perfection. I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong date but they were accommodating and got our party of 4 in. We can’t wait to come back! A few noteworthy menu items: The halibut, clams, brussels, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh daily special salad, and all of the desserts!

Husband and I came here on a lovely Friday night and we were seated right away. The ambiance was beautiful and very romantic. The food was superb! The husband got the ribeye and I got the sirloin both were incredible delicious. Our waitress was fantastic and very friendly even took our photo : We definitely will come back here for a date night!
11/10 recommend Gardner’s! It’s one of our favorite places for a nice dinner out. Some favorites are the scallops, bolognese, fettuccine, and seafood salad. They also have great drinks and dessert. Can’t say enough good things about the staff; they are pros! Hope to be back in for dinner soon.
I really enjoyed my night at Gardeners.. the food was amazing..the service was excellent and the interior was well set out and well decorated...will definitely be going back
Arguably the best food in town. Multiple outstanding dishes and top shelf service. Our server Alex is a real pro.
