I don't know why this side of Perth Amboy acts like no one speaks English. Like this restaurant opened well over 20 years ago, and yet everyone inside still refuses to speak English to their customers. Like step it up. Don't even think about paying with a card or apple pay here. They gratuity charge 15%, illegally. You cannot impose fees greater than the sales tax in NJ. IT'S THE LAW. I called to dispute the illegal fee and have it removed. I live way up in North NJ and had breakfast here. Can you believe the cook asked me to drive to Perth Amboy for the $5 in cash??? The manager conveniently left at 2pm when I brought up the illegal gratuity could be removed from the $43 breakfast ticket. Y...
The food is bad, I recommend Plaza garibaldi! The food always taste good over there. This place I gave it a chance today because the Plaza garibaldi one was closed. This is the second time I buy their food and it taste like nothing, and they leave the chunks of skin on their quesabirria which is gross so slimy ugh. And taste like nothing. The agua frescas taste like nothing. I bought a tamarindo juice and sent me pineapple juice. And don’t even think of buying flan. They call vanilla flavored jello, Flan. I was so disappointed and sad that I tried to give it a second chance but ended up more disappointed than ever.
The food is horrible with no seasoning. Tacos are delivered with hard tortillas, the mixed fajitas have no flavor and the food was cold twice in a row. I ordered 5 nachos in the past two weeks and they are always missing something. They load it with Parmesan and forget the mozzarella. The cook argues that he adds everything but yet I have the dishes in front of me. Time to find another mexican restaurant because this one is off my list. Food: 1
Bad communication. I tried to place an order by phone after 2 pm and they told me that they do not accept orders after 2 pm by phone, something I understand perfectly. But I asked them if I could ask for it and pick it up and they told me no, I had to go ask for it at the restaurant, something stupid and not crazy. -1 Service: 1

A place where a delivery driver walks in and is always ignored. I stood by the counter for 10 minutes to not even be addressed. Had to back out of a good order because of staff that works there. This is not the first time every time I go there this happens. Service: Delivery
