Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar & Grill

We ate here this afternoon for lunch. The hostess was very friendly and there were many open tables with umbrellas. Being able to seat ourselves, we chose a table closest to the bikers which provided a great and interesting scene to enjoy. Misters were also on to keep refresh you from the heat. The waitress was very friendly and provided great service! Overall he food was average. My husband ordered the special meat lover and said it was good but could have had more flavor. He didn't really care for the barbecue sauce. As for my son who ordered a margarita flatbread said there was plenty of cheese but perhaps needed more sauce. This place is ideal if you're wanting to sit outside to "people watch" or watch the bikers come down the mountain. We simply chose to eat here for that reason. My son ordered the nacho appetizer and I swear that four people could eat off of that and be stuffed. The rest of us ordered the flat breads and they were really good. The service was really slow, though, which is why I can only give it a four. It caused us to be late for our tour (we got there about 2 hours before we needed to report back to our tour and were almost late!).

With a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, plus a constant set of made cyclists to watch as the crash down the hillside, this not a bad place to eat. It's a 'fish and chips' or 'burger' kind of a place with great service and decent beers. It's not cheap - we paid 62 dollars Canadian for a flatbread, fish and chips, a beer and a glass of wine. But, hey, nothing is cheap in Whistler.

We were able to get seats outside near the outside fence. We did this so that we could take pictures and see the MB come down the hill. Service was good and large selection of foods. There were generous with the nacho appetizer we had (couldn't eat it all) but it gave us time to have a few drinks and take in the scenery. Réservez une table maintenant

Great location and nice staff but the food is below average. Our group ordered the fish tacos (soggy and very fishy tasting), chicken burger (bland and dry), and chicken pieces coated in a sauce. The one stand out item we had was the Ahi tuna...More

For great food, drinks and views of the insane people coming down the mountain on bikes head to the Garibaldi Lift Co Bar and Grill. We sat on the balcony with the table heaters which was lovely. Thoroughly recommendedif you are in town...

This location is great for the evening light show (we had reserved on the patio); however, the service was very slow on the patio. It was good food and drink, just wished the service was more efficient.

Great patio. Right beside the mountain. Food was good. Flat bread wad pretty good and waffle fries were good too. Food wasn't amazing. Service was very friendly. But great location. Réservez une table maintenant

I went to the glc for dinner and it was nice but service was to slow, not many choices of meals and it isn't cheap. My meal was quite nice but small, I won't be returning.

guess people come here for the drinks. food options are not inspiring. that includes dessert which we came for (après). waffles and vanilla gelato, that's it.
