accidentally it drove me into the golden rose on a Friday night. it was quite full and somewhat strange, as I was the only woman in the local apart from the waitress. that hasn't happened to me for a long time. it didn't really disturb me either, only I found it strange because the guest mix in no form reflected the demography. the gulasch was good. and as I explained to myself by a few women, all women in the city sit nicely in caffe, while their men keep the night of the year holy.
especially in summer, you sit in the in-house front garden or in the ski garden next to the 3 column directly at the main square and can thus observe this all around comfortably. the kitchen is a solid gas house kitchen with a daysmenus during the week. the tender beer tastes very good and the freshly brunette smells not only from the entrance very good, but it also tastes like that. an obligation for us if we are in zwettl.
we only took a little jause but the pleasing good and inexpensive. we had the cheese with lentil salad and poppy oil and that was very good. the offer of open weeping was the very great surprise, because there are very many weeping offered by the best winzers across Austria and that to especially moderate preisen. the service friendly and flotted.

A rainy day sent us inside from the patio and we sat with another family, what a treat! We practiced German and English and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, service was spot on, and the town of Zwettl was a perfect stop on our way to Cesky Krumlov. I highly recommend it.
