the “host of the shooting site” has been completely rebuilt and is now characterized by the modern Bavarian ambiente. the menu offers a rather small offer of main dishes and a few broth meals. we once chose the “steirer carving with pumpkin core panel” and roasted potatoes. a large portion, with unfortunately average taste! this also applies to the “bone-gröstl”, where the taste was better here due to the good sauce. in a “Bavarian Sausage Salad” you can’t do much wrong. but one can cut the “Regensburgs” very roughly and all of them on a brow, so that here the “eye” as well as the “Gröstl” comes too short. Conclusion: as I said: beautiful economy, beautiful beer garden, food-passt.
as at the first visit the Bavarian cuisine has attracted us. we have not been disappointed this time, which affects the quality of the food. however, my ossobucco was made of calfskin slices (two pieces maybe 10 cm in diameter, incl. bones) with crisp and aromatic cream wesing for just under 16 euro in no ratio to the perfectly fried twill roasted roast (from the bark and at least three times so much meat) for just under 18 euro, that is annoying, nice to give. we'll see it next time.

After a long time, we were once again in the shooting place and regretted not to have been there more and more often after the rebuilding of the restaurant.The local has become very beautiful and cozy.The pork we ordered was the best for a long time, not least because of the fantastic dark beer soße. the portions were luxuriant and everything that was carried past us to the neighbors looked very appetizing.We can recommend a visit only warmly.
this great restaurant is located a bit off the beaten paths up the hill in starnberg. outside it was too cool to enjoy the beer garden, but we will come back when the weather suits. my wife and I ate in the bar area to evening, which was cozy and warm. we had a pork dish that was excellent and at a great price. the staff were all very courteous and friendly. I can recommend this restaurant for great food and atmosphere at a great price warmly.

the restaurant to the shooting place is a Bavarian house with a living tradition and of course with the world-famous beers of the augustin brewery from Munich. the pork is worth his money for just 10 euro and also my recommendation.
