Gasthof Zur Windmühle

This review is for their restaurant only. I didn't stay at their hotel. It's a solid Franconian restaurant in Ansbach. Like many other establishments in Germany, this restaurant is family-owned and operated. Service is excellent. Menu is quite extensive from appetizers to main course meals. Franconian dishes tend to be very hearty like American comfort foods. If you don't like/eat pork, your options will be limited. Vegetarian options area somewhat limited. Price is quite reasonable for the serving size. Bon Appétit!

Delicious food! It came highly recommended and it was worth it. Very authentic and very delicious. Reasonably priced and the seats were great. I love kitchens and restaurants like this with freshly made food fresh from the garden and farm. Please come. It’s worth it.

Room is good, spacious but no fan or AC in summer you may feel discomfort Service is not good, you get nothing in toilet and bathroom, no toothpaste, Location is quite remote not convenient

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very spacious, breakfast had a good variety. Didn't eat at restaurant but food looked amazing.

Classic German food. Delicious. Great service. Would definitely go back!
