I hate to give bad reviews, but I am absolutely disgusted by this place, and the customer service. Cut long story short, waited 25 minutes to be served, asked for a pizza, told they wouldn 't be serving pizza today, then asked for two portions of noodles, to be told 'that 's like ordering bread in a restaurant. I couldn 't believe it, I laughed and walked out. This is absolutely The most appalling customer service I have ever received in my whole entire life. To add, the decor was absolutely disgusting, I feel sorry for the the oversized fish in the small tanks, there 's cobwebs on every single lampshade. Wow. Words cannot describe how disgusted I am by this place. Absolutely diabolical.
The decoration of the restaurant is a little outdated but it's calm and quiet if you don't mind the interior. I ordered the Chinese tea and was surprised that it actually tasted like the actual chinese tea, not the diluted variation you find elsewhere and it comes in a pot. We ordered vapoured prawn dumplings and was a little disappointed when the inside of the dumplings were still cold and sent it back to be reheated. We then had the duck laquee and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The duck was disappointing but the chicken and the fried rice were good. The dinner is very affordable and they also have the 18Euro set menu to choose from.
Centrally located, this is a restaurant that, judging by the decor, is stuck in a time warp. But don't let that put you off. It's a restaurant that seems to server all cuisines, which I personally think is a shame. Pizza, Japanese, Chinese to name a few and as a result of people asking for variety. We opted for Chinese, seeing as the chef was and had a delicious, authentic hot and sour soup followed by chilli beef. Maybe they should dump the others styles and stick to Chinese.
