We were in the Eifel for a few days. As always, when we make vacation somewhere, I look forward to what restaurants are nearby. Due to the most good reviews, we reserved a table in Restaurant Noss for the first night. The parking search alone was already adventurous. Cochem was totally overcrowded and there are no private parking spaces. After we finally had a parking lot, we had to go to the restaurant for almost 10 minutes and were of course not in time. We hate ignorance! arrived, we were very nicely greeted and led into the upper floor. We could look for a table and chose a window overlooking the promenade. While everything was tied, the top carpet. The upper floor filled very quickly after we were there. We first ordered a Pils and then deepened into the map. My male ordered the slaughter plate to 12.50 Euro I chose the Rumpsteak with herbal butter to 19.30 Euro Well... and then there were long faces with us. The slaughter plate consisted of something pure and sour wort, on which a small piece of belly, a mini liver sausage, mini blood sausage, small piece of ice bone and a small sausage. Tastefully perfect, but this mini part eats my husband as an appetizer! My steak didn't look different. There was no grams, but if there was 200 grams, it was a lot. To the point fried, good meat, but too little. There were some pommes in a bowl. The Plus,Mayo and Ketchup were quite unconventional in the tubes on the table and did not cost extra. I think it's terrible if you get the Mayo in the mini dish and pay 50 cents for it. We got no bill on the table. Everything was tipped into a device and then the price was communicated to us. Did not notice what the beer costs all the other I was listed in our accommodation immediately. Therefore, no invoice amount. With tip the service was perfect, but we paid 40 euros. Conclusion: We are still in a Dungeon budget and I got a dungeon and my husband got a curry sausage,Pommes,Mayo. Then we were tired. Although the food was tastefully good, it was too expensive for these small portions and we will probably not look for this place anymore

On the way we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat something cozy. It should be as idyllic as possible whatever you understand. In any case, we have no nose in the eye. The Moselle was still visible by road and parking. On the upper floor, however, you have a beautiful view of it; that was closed. The premises were warm and cozy, it was decorated for carnival, but not too extreme. The service was very friendly as you expected or as it should be. What I found great: At each table there were books with children's books, so that the dear little ones can taste boredom. The menu was clear. Personally, I don't like it when courts are offered by courts. That's my motto. It wasn't a three-star kitchen, but it wasn't even expected. Just a little hungry. There was something for the greater hunger. My partner had fresh ruby cake with smoked salmon and creamy horse with small salad buffet for 8.50 €, I potato bag filled with cheese on tomatoes Ragout (not found on the internet map) for 7.80 €. It cost! What I originally found is that you can also get a part of rose cabbage (of course at an extra cost). I haven't experienced that yet. The place was well visited, but I can imagine that in high season it will be hard to get a place. There are heated outdoor spaces. All in all a good place with a varied map and friendly service.

Very friendly service. We had Hirschgulasch with Spätzle and a Vesperplatte, both very tasty. It was early, from shortly before 6:00 there were no more tables, therefore best book in advance.

great location in cochem and we loved to sit on a warm summer evening on the pavement. the service was decent when considering how far our tables were removed. .
