The staff here are always really friendly and helpful. They'll let you taste before you buy and are quite accommodating and knowledgeable on dietary requirements, in our case gluten-free coeliac disease. Gelare is a bit old hat as a concept particularly when you consider all the trendy new alternatives such as gelato and froyo bars. But this place is nice enough and on a hot summer's night, the view down Mends St to the river and CBD is simply magic. Take an icecream down to the foreshore and take it all in.
Rude service at gelare south Perth. My friends and I had to wait 30 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. We had to remind the staff for the coffee and after that they served us rudely at our table. We kindly requested for two glasses of water but the waitress refused to serve us saying there were no available glasses. However there were about 40 glasses on the shelf. This is a shocking service!!!! We are definitely not coming back ever!!!!!
Although I have never been a big fan of jelly egg in general (I find a lot of the aromen taste very similar,) but a freshly baked hot waffel with a great screed keksteeis goes down a tasty when they get a hungry (as we did the other night.) the south perth filiale is located in a particularly great location that they can go down in less than a minute to the
beautiful ice salon that also makes other desserts. it was regrettable that the restaurant itself was quite hot, so it was unpleasant to eat inside. we decided to eat outside on the tables that were cooler. beautiful selection of items and I finished getting the Biscoff cross. it was a beautiful place for something sweet.

Reasonable selection of icecream to choose from and freshly made waffles taste yummy. The decor and location are great and service generally good. I've only ever had waffles and icecream there, so I cant comment on drinks here. Good spot to grab an icecream and go for a relaxing walk to the nearby foreshore.
Terrible coffee and mocha. Lukewarm milk after 35 minute wait. Son's milkshake tasted terrible. Dirty tables, weren't cleared until asked. Won't be going again. Young staff aren't good enough and need supervision.
Love their half price waffle on Tuesday! Always fresh and yum! I always asked extra whipped cream and they always give it for free! YAY Another good thing is, it's a stroll away from our place

my wife and I sang here today to celebrate our 20-year anniversary. I enjoyed my waffel and I appreciated the gentle, patient service we have received.
I bought a $15 waffle, it was burned. I asked for a new one, and they wanted to give me another.
