This place is small but powerful! The flavors pack a stamp and the service was good. A small one was a lot for me as they put something in the cup and it floods the top! The small serving device they give you is very funny and lets you enjoy the taste more with every bite. I got the last cappuccino purse and I was very happy. It was amazing. Remember that when they run out of a taste for the day, they are out so that you want to go earlier in their open hours if you want to make sure that you try what you hope to try! Thank you for staying open late! We were pleased to find a nearby place had changed its hours and closed at 8:30, but we were glad to have found your restaurant still open. The employee was helpful and friendly, offering us some free samples to help us decide. My husband chose the chocolate dirt, a decadent dessert with chocolate on top of more chocolate. Though it was a lot for him, he enjoyed it. I chose two flavors, cookies and cream, and cappuccino, and both were delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. I can't even begin to describe my experience with this restaurant. I had 2 triple berry dishes every day, which were louder than life. The staff are amazing and represent the essence of a family-owned business. Their prices are fair and the taste and quality of their dishes are outstanding. I live an hour and a half away, but I make the trip to Louisville just to have more of their food. I'm not a religious person, but I must say that their food is like a taste of heaven. Much love to the team at this restaurant, you have gained a loyal customer for life!
I don't visit this restaurant often, as I'm not a huge fan of eating ice cream out, but every time I do, it never fails to exceed my expectations. The gelato is truly perfect and the flavors are impeccable. I especially love the birthday cake flavor, and currently they have strawberry cream and papaya sorbet that are amazing! It's always a lovely and refreshing treat, especially on hot summer days.

The Gelato itself was delicious. But don't expect any good customer service here. Me and friends walked in and were ignored by workers until we greeted them when we were ready to order. They acted as if we were inconveniencing them by wanting to place an order. Unfortunately that was enough for me to not want to return.
I frequent this place often! They have the best gelato in town! My favorite flavor is their chocolate orange, but it always seems to be someone else's favorite too because it's never available when I visit. However, their chocolate and pistachio flavors are also delicious!
My family is Italian and have traveled to Italy. Gilberto serves the real deal, made from scratch and delicious! I highly recommend the goat cheese and fig gelato.
Update Still great gelato. But today the regular cones or a tiny bit stale. But not stale enough to affect the star rating.The best Gelato since Italy.
