Terrace looked nice so decided to stop here for a beer and a glass of sangria. What a mistake. Drinks were brought to table with receipt of 19 Euros! I was so shocked that I paid even though I should have left immediately. Bill we paid in all other bars for those drinks was 4-6 Euros so they charged us 4 times more without hesitation. Receipt says just ”varios”, why, for taxing purposes or that nobody could question the amount afterwards? Quick look at TA and I found I was not the first person to get fooled. Luckily I told two Spanish ladies who sat next to us to check the prices before ordering anything – they had a short talk in Spanish with the owner and left thanking me I had warned them...
Arriving in San Sebastian was desperate for a cool drink and walked towards town to find attractive looking Geminis Cockteleria. What a shock to pay €6.50 for a large beer, same amount was charged for an airline bottle (187 ml) well below mediocre wine even the service was not with a smile to justify these prices. Later learned that even in a top location and pleasant surroundings in San Sebastian you would not pay that much for a drink. Place best avoided.
Clip joint For a beer, a glass of low quality Rioja, some jamon and olives this dump charged E35. With a straight face. For 35E, you can choose from a thousand places in San Sebastián that knock themselves out to offer an array of first rate crab, foie gras, octopus, hake, steak, tuna, etc pintxo at half the price. Avoid this dump.
La pensión muy buena, lo único que la empleada de servicio, al tener visita, nos reclamo que hablábamos un tanto alto el volumen en el pasillo y salió a llamar la atención, tengo que reconocer que eran las 11 de la noche y a los críos pequeños son un tanto duro de calmar, por lo demás perfecto

We arrived in San Sebastián very late and were struggling to find any bars that were open. We sat outside on the pavement seats and had plenty of beers. The waiters were good and the prices were reasonable too. Nice to just have a chilled out night outside in the breeze. Enjoyable experience.
Please be aware, this place will rip you off, we got an initial bill of 5 Euros only to order an orange juice and wine and got a bill for 17 Euros! We argued but in the end they ripped us off, considering that's glass of wine costs around 1.50 Euros locally. Please avoid this place!!!!!
We were perfectly happy with this bar and are surprised by the other reviews. It was convenient for our hotel and the ladies serving were friendly. I enjoyed the on-tap dark beer.
Mi experiencia ha sido mala. La semana pasada el cortado a 1,80, boy 1,90. Le he comentado al dueño, y ni me ha contestado. Falta de educación.
