"I understand that mistakes happen, but this experience left me questioning the competence of the owner, especially when it comes to handling food like sushi. If the owner had any sense of professionalism, she would have offered some compensation after keeping us waiting for so long without food or even checking in on us. Ten minutes later, I received a $65 bill for the entire order that wasn't even served! I explained my situation and informed her that they had a serious timing issue, even for a busy Friday night. To my surprise, she showed no interest in resolving the problem. When I asked what she expected me to do, I noted that despite having three chefs, this was still the slowest sushi place on the west coast! There was a 20-minute wait between rolls, which had all been ordered at the same time!
