I ordered from this restaurant on Seamless, not because I wanted to use a third-party app, but because I live in Jersey City and had no other way to get their food. That said, I placed an order for a Sicilian pizza, and although it was marked as delivered, I never received it! I reached out to Seamless, who contacted the restaurant, and they kindly sent out a second pizza. I’m giving them a five-star review because their pizza is absolutely amazing, and they took the initiative to make another one for me, even considering the additional cost. I understand they have to do this to maintain their reputation on apps like Seamless and Grubhub, but it was still a wonderful gesture that I truly app...
Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App, was one of the first customers to arrive on a Sunday. A good looking Plain Pizza just came out of the oven. A regular slice and Drink is $5.15. Good Size slice that was just your average slice. A good amount of cheese dominated the slice that did not have any sauce. Think it was more paste which does not appeal to me. The crust was ok. Good Slice that will fill your belly, but not advancing far in a Pizza Tournament. Which is fine, looks like they do well in the area. Gencarellis has to make one of the best pizzas I?ve personally ever had. This review has NOTHING to do with the quality of the pizza. This has to do with the price/quantity of the grandma pie. AGAIN the pie was absolutely delicious, but if I?m paying $25 you better be filling that box. As you can see from the picture I posted, I will never be ordering a grandma pie again from here. No matter how good it was you aren?t getting what you pay for. I?ve ordered grandma pies at other locations and the size comparison is noticeable. Just a word of warning to anyone else interested in trying the grandma pie. Expensive and not the amount reflecting it.
I work in the mall they are located in call up an hour before my shift ends so i can pick up a quick dinner ordered a personal pie go to pick it up at the end of my shift and it still isn?t made and I?m told to wait so I took my business elsewhere hopethis doesn?t happen again. The part that angered me the most was they made it seem like it was my fault for the food not beingready and the fact that I am a regular customer and had no offer of any discount/apology was the worst part. Will change myreview if I get some sort of reach out otherwise stay away.

I work in the mall, and I often stop by this restaurant for a quick dinner to go before my shift. Unfortunately, on my last visit, the cake I ordered was not ready when I arrived to pick it up at the end of my shift. I was left waiting, which was very frustrating. What bothered me the most was that the situation felt like it was handled poorly. As a regular customer, I expected some kind of apology or even a discount, but I received neither. Unless I hear back from management, I will be reconsidering my patronage and will update my review accordingly.
We recently hired Gencarelli's in Lyndhurst to cater our party, and I highly recommend them. The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and everything was ready as promised. The staff in the store were incredibly friendly and helpful when we picked up our order. Every time I've ordered pizza or other dishes from them in the past, it has also been great.

The service was a 5, excellent. The portions were huge for the price which was affordable. The bread they gave us was delicious. The rest of the food was ok. Like I said huge portions and great service. May have needed a little more flavor, but I would go back to try other dishes. They had quite a variety of items to choose from.
