I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. The service was rated a 3 - they were attentive to some customers but seemed too busy for others. It seemed like getting good service depended on having a good relationship with the staff and a bit of luck. The food was given a rating of 4.5 - the sushi was decent and the decoration was nice, but there is room for improvement (some of the rolls fell apart when picked up with chopsticks). The location was rated a 5 as it is within walking distance from public transportation and has a parking lot. The environment was rated a 3.5 - it felt a bit tight, especially when the restaurant was crowded. The value was rated a 3.5 as it was a bit pricey...
Coming from the west coast (that's my hook), it was ok. The prices were reasonable, and so was the food, not great, but reasonable. Wouldn't recommend the scallop hand roll (wasn't fresh to my taste), but the fish was good and fresh. I love Tobiko with egg, and was happy to see it on the menu, but it was goopy because they left the egg white (you're supposed to only use the yolk). The hand rolls are worth while, good price and quantity, get that.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian rolls.
One of the best sushi restaurants in town. My friends are vegetarian and genki ya has the best menu for vegetarian sushi roll. They have another location in Boston and it has really good drinks too. They have a lunch special where they serve you complimentary salad and miso soup. The staff is very friendly too.
Very tasty and fast! Tonight, we tried the classics: Alaskan roll, shrimp tempura, yellow tail roll, and pickled mackerel. They were all super fresh and delicious! I also liked that the whole menu was picture- based. We are definitely coming back for more!

Good quality sushi, etc at decent prices. Small place with about 14 tables... Food is prepared well and the noodles are served very hot while tempura is light and delightful. Good stop over place at the end of a long day without a lot of complications.
I absolutely adore this restaurant and its location. The server and staff are consistently friendly. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. I always come here and am never disappointed. Highly recommend!
The sushi was excellent, and my friend mentioned that the sashimi was also delicious. I had to request a paper menu since the QR code wasn’t functioning. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

Great sushi, good vibe, quick and friendly server! Take a risk on the ume shiso roll very fun bright counterpoint to the unctuous cozy fish flavors.
Really good sushi, great service too. They were very welcoming and the food came out very quick. Pretty reasonable prices too.
