Always stop for a pint or two…more when in London. Actually went upstairs for dinner this time, and was pleasantly surprised. Food was solid, but most importantly Ellen, our server made our night (what a hoot)! Not only was she to personable, but we had a great lo g chat while ordering and eating. She the snuck outside and said good night after her shut ended. Best time we have had at George!
Right well we know the football was on and this place was extremely busy. Our meals were so salty they were practically inedible. We were sat by the ladies toilet eating food with the toilet door constantly propped open. Fair enough we complained and we had a full food refund. One thing to say hygiene, hygiene, hygiene management. Question to you did you learn nothing from Covid?
Visited for lunch on a day out in London. Tucked down a little alley near London Bridge station Borough Market, it takes you away from the hussle and bussle of the area. Found a table straight away and looked at the food menu. Reasonably priced and great quality offering. Food was served quickly and asked if everything was ok during the meal. Will definitely be back.
Excellent place to have dinner, really great flavours in all the food. The beef burger was great as were all the meals, fish and chips, beyond burger and the beef and ale pie. The service we had was amazing, Dean was fantastic which made the whole experience even better. Ellen provided lovely service as well. Réservez une table maintenant
Very historic pub. A big tourist attraction, including guided tours which stop off here. A good sized pub to explore with inside and outside seating area suitable for larger groups. An understandable wait to get served when the pub is busy.
I enjoyed a cold beer just the way I like it at this restaurant. The friendly welcome from the experienced waitress upstairs was a nice touch. Thank you for providing a great dining experience.
Luckily had the restaurant to ourselves. Myself and 2 teenage picky eaters loved everything they tried on the menu. Service was wonderful and you just cannot beat the history.
You must visit this charming inn located just off Borough High Street. They offer a selection of local beers from Southwark Brewery. Réservez une table maintenant
