I ordered two large cater-sized salads yesterday for our softball team: a Greek salad with grilled chicken and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. They have the best dressings! I really appreciated that they packaged some of the toppings separately in containers. The pita bread was also delicious! George's servers and chefs are fantastic! They are always so friendly and do an excellent job! Our picnic dinner between the double-header was outstanding! I will definitely be ordering large salads from here again! Thank you for consistently providing great service for our dining in and take-out meals!
I had come in a few times with family and friends because of the great reviews I was hearing from friends. Whenever I would come into George's Coney Island for the first couple of times, the food and staff was always amazing. However, lately the food has been the worst. In my 3 recent visits, I had found strands of hair in my food as well as finding foreign objects in my water. Normally I would rate a restaurant 1 star for this reason. But George's Coney Island has a great staff and I hope they fix this problem for future customers. I won't be back for a long time.
Great little corner diner. I've eaten here a few times and the service has always been quick. A nice place to stop in if your time is limited. The kitchen is open so it can be alitte loud at times but nothing that could stop you from having a conversation. Portions are nice sized as well. Obviously it's not fancy, it's a diner, it's not supposed to be, but it is clean and friendly. Prices are on par with any other diner. If your just looking for a meal at a reasonable price thats nothing fancy, you pretty much cant go wrong here.
I've only visited this restaurant once, and it was for breakfast. I opted for a simple meal of eggs, bacon, and well-done rye toast, which was cooked perfectly. The food was tasty, and our waitress was lovely; despite being quite busy, she managed to serve our meals hot and fairly quickly. The space felt a bit cramped, especially since it was a busy Sunday, but overall, I had a pleasant experience.

I ordered a Greek salad to take away, and I have to say that the staff was incredibly friendly both on the phone and in person. The price was reasonable, and I will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for making my experience so enjoyable!
Not really great. One of the worse coney islands I've been to. It's just boring, like everything is out of a Gordon Food Service bag and thrown into the deep fryer. It wasn't bad, per se, but I wouldn't go back
Forgot part of my order which would be somewhat less aggravating if the food wasn’t so overpriced. Staff not friendly, I understand why restaurant was empty at dinner time. Won’t be back.
I've been going there three or four times a week in the morning for breakfast it's really wonderful fresh easy to place an order over the phone and never overcooked

Very busy little restaurant!! Loved how they were so busy yet they still greeted everybody and we're super friendly!! Will definitely be back and recommend!
The food was just average for a Coney Island restaurant, but the portion sizes were generous. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
