It's very reminiscent of Howleys as you're typically greeted with some kind of 80s alternative music on the walk-up, like The Smiths, or The Cure. The building has a 1950s vibe to it and it's hardworking staff come in all shades, colors, and distinct styles. It makes me feel like I'm amongst my people, and I'm instantly comfortable. As for food and drink; everything is delicious, albeit a bit on the pricier side for a diner. The food and drinks are outstanding! The servers are quick to take your order and deliver your food, ensuring everything is correct. They have a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, so there’s something for everyone. The French fries are exceptional—thick cuts of potato fried just to the brink of being overcooked, yet somehow they turn out perfect. Just a heads up, they arrive piping hot!

The tastiest and most allergy-friendly menu in Connecticut? Absolutely! They offer a wide variety of gluten-free options, allowing us to enjoy brunch alongside our friends. The restaurant features a charming retro diner aesthetic that brings to mind The Jetsons. The parking lot is reasonably sized, yet there were only a few cars parked there at 9:15 AM, a time when you would typically expect it to be bustling with activity.

Our server was really friendly, and I appreciated that they proactively inquired about food allergies instead of just waiting for customers to bring them up. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, but it tends to get quite crowded.
