In the words of Rolling Ray, it was truly terrible. I ordered an Italian beef, tiramisu, and chicken strips through Uber Eats. The Italian beef came with toasted bread that ended up making the entire sandwich dry. There was barely a small amount of juice, just enough to moisten a corner of the bread. To make matters worse, the peppers were undercooked and tough. This was easily the worst Italian beef I've ever had. The chicken strips were somewhat bland but passable. The fries were slightly undercooked and lacked any salt or pepper. As for the tiramisu, it was watery and mushy, as if it had been made several days prior.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. What I appreciate most is the atmosphere; it's incredibly peaceful and cozy. The food is delicious, primarily focusing on Italian cuisine. During my last visit, the music was fantastic as well. One of the staff members, Gustavo, is a music enthusiast, and he curated the playlist, which featured a diverse selection of tracks. The music was neither loud nor overwhelming; instead, it was beautifully soothing, enhancing the overall dining experience and making it even more enjoyable.
Ordered an 18? half sausage half pepperoni w extra cheese, an order of hot wings w ranch dressing and an order of fries. The pizza was tasteless only thing I remember tasting was the overly charred bottom crust. The wings were a bit too soggy for myliking had a sour/wannabe hot taste to it that I did not like. The fries had a burnt taste to it as if the oil they used to frywas from days ago that needed to be changed. I was expecting to be blown away from the reviews I guess I caught Gianni?s on abad day.
Found this place just by chance while waiting to pick someone up from the airport. I was NOT disappointed!! The food was amazing!! Definitely recommend anytime you're in the area. I traveled to Chicago from Charlotte and had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful friends near the restaurant to spend time with. I thoroughly enjoyed the food—it really hit the spot. The staff were all professional and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!
