Gigi's Italian Restaurants

Couldn't get past the appetizers.We were so excited to have Italian as we were burned out on fried food and my name to our grandchildren is Gigi! Unfortunately, my excitement quickly vanished. Our sodas were flat. We ordered escargot and calamari as appetizers and because our service had been so bad we decided to wait for the appetizers before ordering our mains....we had a bad feeling by this point. Our server was running. He was in such a rush it seemed he was throwing our drinks and food at us. We just laughed it off but honestly it was the weirdest service I've experienced. We have been dining in and delivering meals from Gigi's for over 20 years. It was one of our very favorites, especially for pizza. Gigi's was my absolute favorite for Pizza, but about a year and a half ago I noticed that the price went up and the quality went down. I was so disappointed, that I tried again and again hoping it was just a one-time incident. So we said good-bye to Gigi's for good.

excellent service by our server carla. we enjoyed our common Calimari salads. a nice, humble price had castle rock pinoit noir a crisp taste. I loved the spaghetti meatballs with a rich savory marina sauce my fiancée enjoyed her garnelen scampi. they never know on the beach, but we suggest they try. 2 regular loves the pizza said so without asking.

We dined there Monday evening. I had the combo and my wife had the pasta. Both dishes were superb, very authentic Italian cuisine. Wish we had one in Jacksonville.

We really liked Gigi's; the food was good and the staff was very friendly. They have standard Italian dishes and a few new ones. Gluten free pasta, too.
