A no frills traditional taco shop. Their meat and tortillas (they use yellow corn) were a bit dry and overcooked tonight. Not sure if that is the norm or if it was an off night, or because it was just before closing, but the meat was dry and the tortillas overcooked and somewhat hard. Will probably not go again as there are better more consistent places nearby. Went because my favorite was closed.
We stopped by the drive-thru on a Saturday around noon to try their breakfast tacos. We ordered the bacon and potato, as well as the bean, egg, and potato tacos. They were amazing! The flour tortillas tasted homemade and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The woman who took our order was very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this place!
Best tacos in town! I've never had a bad meal at Gilberto's.Birria done right and with experience. This will be the standard upon which you judge all other Birria.Their churros are homemade and fantastic.Parking: There are not a lot of parking spots and the lot behind the building is tight. Can park on the nearby side street if they are busy.

As a newcomer to Texas, I found the service at this restaurant to be prompt and friendly. We decided to order a Carne asada burrito and asada fries. Unfortunately, the carne asada in the burrito was quite fatty, leading us to only eat a small portion of it. I personally do not enjoy the chewy gristle texture.
Based on a friend's suggestion, we decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. While my torta was decent, my fiancée ordered the Carnitas tacos plate, which had no flavor at all. It was one of the most disappointing Mexican meals we've ever had.
BEST burrito I have had in years. I had Carne asada burrito. Highly recommend!! Portion was huge. Tasted amazing, had to force myself to stop eating. It will be a tough task to find a burrito that is better!!!

This place is awesome. We stopped by during a Saturday night Rangers game, had a chicken enchilada plate and carnitas plate. Great experience!!! We'll definitely be back!!!
