This restaurant offers fantastic Mexican food. The service is excellent, and the meals are surprisingly delicious, especially considering the rustic, old-fashioned decor. Don’t be deceived by the looks—it’s truly good! They have a full selection of dishes, along with some spicy hot sauces to complement your meal. The chips are quite tasty too. Give this place a try; it may be a small hole-in-the-wall, but it’s definitely worth your time!

Gilberto's is a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. My experiences have consistently featured quick and friendly service, and I highly recommend the delicious carnitas tacos. The guacamole was just average, and the chips were similarly unremarkable. Overall, it's an excellent spot for reasonably priced Mexican food.
I rated them three stars for making an effort, but this will be my second and final visit. The type of customers dining there should have been a warning sign. I ordered a chili verde burrito, but it was packed with beans! If I wanted a bean burrito, I would have ordered one. Making a bean burrito is something anyone can do! Réservez une table maintenant
Absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable! My husband and I live in South Sacramento, but we will definitely make the journey out here again. There's also a great Goodwill next door!
