The steak had good flavor, but it was quite tough, I’d have preferred a smaller, but much more tender cut. The food is definitely decent, but nothing extraordinary enough to justify the price. Excellent waitress. I wish I’d gotten her name, so that we could ask for her again. Our large group goes once a month and when our last regular waiter moved on, so did we. Now that we’ve found another good one, we might resume coming again, if we can ask for and get her.
We had a reservation for outdoor seating but ended up being seated indoors. They initially brought us the wrong order. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, and the chicken served with the Cobb salad was bland. However, the Caesar salad and the Craftsman dish were both enjoyable. I also felt that the cocktails we ordered were quite overpriced. Overall, we’ll consider trying a different restaurant next time we visit.
First time at Monks Cellar and overall had a great experience with food, service, and drinks. Everything tasted great with no complaints. We had the Cobb salad and the steak frites.
The food is outstanding, and the beer is incredible. It's no surprise they were awarded the CA Brewery of the Year for 2023. This place has become one of our favorite spots. Réservez une table maintenant
Enjoyed happy hour and dinner. Food was delicious like always. The fish and chips was wonderful. Beer is great here, cocktails as well. Service was very good.
I really enjoyed the pickled vegetables and Scotch eggs. I also had a Caesar salad with chicken, and the chicken was surprisingly moist!
Great service and food was great! Good vibes with fun atmosphere. Plenty of space to bring larger groups.
