Ginger Restaurant - Réservation de table

We are fans of 'Asian' cuisine, particularly Vietnamese style, and prefer to support family run restaurants when eating out. We were directed to the Ginger Restaurant by the receptionist at our hotel, the Queen's Landing. The Ginger Restaurant is just a few minutes drive from the hotel. The decor is pleasant, but more importantly, the food is creative and a taste delight. For example, my entrée was a sous vied pork loin chop, finished on a blazing hot grill accompanied by a well flavored serving of rice noodles. It was a visual and taste pleasure. The server was very helpful and an amateur chef as am I, so we had a lot to chat about . . . and they have parking.

We will be returning as we enjoyed our service and the food. The prices were appropriate for the area and the quality received. We enjoyed the curry and crispy chicken. For dessert we had the creme brulee. Normally I do not order chicken off a menu however it was some of the best chicken I've ever had. The curry was good and the creme brulee was exceptional. The creme brulee was tempered perfectly and they used real vanilla bean. There are very few tables which make it a nice quaint quiet atmosphere. There was a small amount of confusion over our reservation however we were still seated quickly.

Fabulous and worth the trip when visiting the Falls...get away from the noise and nonsense of the downtown area and have a great meal at this family restaurant. You will feel like you are in a home with excellent food and service. Order the chicken - its awesome as well as the spring rolls. My husband loved the ribs and cold soup. Wonderful cultural experience.

We ended up at the Ginger Restaurant after a wine tour with Community Transport, they recommended this, as one of Niagara On The Lake's gems. They were right! Service was great, food was amazing!! Seth our waiter was quite the character and very pleasant, a delight! Our best Dinner while in Niagara was here... Réservez une table maintenant

The prices were very elevated. The entree size very small which didn't reflect the price.We were only table in restaurant. The wait staff hurried us through our dinner.Tired looking restaurant, cheap chairs very uncomfortable not enjoyable but food was ok nothing special Won't be returning

The Ginger Restaurant is in the Orchid Inn. It seves a really good dinner that is on the Asian side of fusion cooking. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we were there but the food was well prepared, inventive, and delicious. The serve was excellent as well.

The food was delicately seasoned and prepared---not at all the usual fare. I had the shrimp curry, and can't wait to have it again on my next visit to the area! Everyone I dined with enjoyed their meal. That being said, expect a limited menu. So worth it!

The coconut curry and crab cakes were delicious! Chef Thane Garth Provides a nice variety of dishes to choose from including vegetarian. The service is excellent. Four of us were there tonight. We enjoyed the Strewn Merlot and had an enjoyable time. Réservez une table maintenant

A monthly eating experience. As a local I appreciate the off main street location and the family run approach. The food is consistently high quality and Seth is always a pleasure!

Great meal, a stone throw from our B&B. Tasty food, good presentation. We would have like to try all the dishes. Friendly service.
