I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been coming here since I was a teenager, and I'm always greeted with a smile. They remember me and treat me like family. The garlic knots are amazing! You have to try them — you won't be disappointed! They will make you feel just as welcome as family!
Good pizza, good countertop selection with specialty slices. However, this place is cash only and the have an ATM which will charge you to get cash to pay if you didn't come with cash. The people there are very friendly. The atmosphere is a bare bones pizzeria.
As for the grandma slice, it was a bit thicker and had a different approach—no fresh mozzarella, just regular cheese topped with a sprinkle of parmesan. I wasn't a fan of the sauce on it, but overall, the pizza was really good and the prices were reasonable.
The young men that work there are always amiable and courteous. They value and appreciate their customers. Very fresh and good pizza and pasta. We stop there when we go out to a Long Island. Réservez une table maintenant
I haven't been here in years, but this is the pizza I grew up with, and it's just as good as I remembered! It has a thin, crispy crust, a rich brown sauce, and plenty of authentic cheese.
Mario looks the same and I've been going here since 1972. The pizza hasn't changed either. It's great. It's Lynbrook finest and a classic since 1960.
