Giorgio's Fine Dining

After cleaning up from our Canada Day fireworks show in Cannington my wife and I were in need of re-energizing. One of the volunteer firemen recommended we go to Giorgio 's. Are we ever glad we did. The cafe is a 1970 's time capsule. Giorgio is an attentive host and exceptionally talented cook. His home fried potatoes (a signature component to his all day breakfast) were absolutely delicious. As Giorgio says, sometimes the old ways are the better ways. Too many places push the product and not the talent . Thank you Giorgio for your friendly hospitality and amazing meal.

My spouse and I visited for lunch over Thanksgiving weekend. A real 'diner experience '. Owned and operated by an older couple. Simple, yet good food. Very large portions, very inexpensive. We liked our club sandwich and rueben sandwhich. Served with fresh onion rings/crispy fries. I would agree that the space could use an update; however, the food was good and the older owners were lovely.

My first time complaining online but this is necessary. Giorgio's family restaurant is absolutely filthy. Everything from the sticky dirty menus to an exposed air conditioner that is black with dirt and so much more. I was shocked as was my Mother. Just don't go there. I took just one photo of the carpet beside my chair but gives you an idea.

We have eaten here regularly, brought our family and friends too. We've enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the staff every visit and I'm sure will continue too for many years to come!!

Food is very good, large portions. Quaint setting with good service. Will be back when in area next.
