"I had chicken quesadillas with sour cream & salsa. It was the best salsa I have ever tasted. My husband had the beef dip & the roast beef was tender & juicy. We have had the chicken wings previously & they were delicious. Our friend had the pesto burger & it was large with a homemade patty.We will definitely be back."

In a sea of pretty crappy options we drove for a bit and stopped in here on a Saturday night; It was quite busy.She aint fancy, no lobster on the menu here, but I quite liked this place. Quaint, local pub feel with cold fresh draft beer. Our service was spot on and super friendly. I had just finished my draft when the food came; not too long a wait In my opinion. Drinks were refilled promptly; non alcohol refilled without having to ask. I ordered what were possibly the best wings I've had in the Lindsay or surrounding area, the poutine had super crispy fries - can't go wrong there. The dinner special, I hear was also very good - though I didn't manage to steal a sampling, it was quickly devo...
After a road trip to Barrie. It was a really good decision to stop here. It has a nice cozy feeling for the place. The pub that seems to visit many locals and collect for a design and a chat at the bar. There was no problem finding a TV in your view if you want to feed the game like you. We ordered the special wing and ribbing combo. Everything was excellent. The wings were really good and the ribs were very delicate. And Lily our server was very attentive and polite. She did a great job. We will return to this from the beaten path Gemstone.
This place is a cross between family restaurant and local pub. They have quite a few beers on tap, a varied menu that includes typical pub fare as well as some unexpected items like perogies, schnitzel and salmon. Every seat has a view of one of the many TVs showing sports, and they frequently bring in live entertainment. A solid spot for lunch or dinner. There aren't many gluten free options.
The food is good. They have updated their menu, and the prices are mid range. If you go on a Thursday, and eat in, you get half price apps, so that was great. The service however is slow. I have never had quick service. If you are looking to eat quickly and move on, this is not the place. If you are looking to eat, mingle, chat and spend some time, you will really like this place :)
