Giovanna's Italian Kitchen

We have seen this restaurant many times in passing, but never stopped in, parking is streetside and limited, then saw there is parking behind, opportunity has arrived. The first view was a huge fruit bearing fig tree and a cozy little courtyard, which is really nice. We went in and ordered an Italian cold cut sub, oh so fresh! The sub roll was perfect and huge. It was topped with Italian dressing. I ordered the Chicken Parm sub and asked for the roll to be toasted. This was a good decision to keep the sauce where it belonged. This normally comes with mozzarella cheese, I chose Provolone, a $0.50 upcharge, and it was worth it. It needed a bit more attention, the have the holy Italian trilogy...

I've been wanting to try this place forever. We got delivery and it arrived before the estimated time. Delivery driver was super kind and made sure to let us know how much they appreciate our business which i thought was sweet. We got a Lg extra chz and mushroom pizza, meatball sub, Italian cold cut sub, chz fries, and gravy fries. My daughter LOVED her meatball sub and chz fries. I was surprised how much i liked the gravy fries because everyone does their brown gravy different but it was delicious. My mom thought the pizza was good, the only complaint is that it seemed to be canned mushrooms on the pizza which aren't great. My Italian cold cut sub was awesome! I did read reviews beforehand...

We just ordered from here and it had to be the worst food we have ever gotten from them. The sub rolls were stale. The steak was so dry I was choking on it. Couldn't tell that there was even cheese or mayo on them. We waited about an hour for our delivery and at best the food was at best luke warm. I will have to rethink ordering sub from then anytime soon. So disappointed on an over $50 order. It was so bad all of us trashed at least half of our subs and fries.

I absolutely love the food, staff, and atmosphere at Giovanna's. After passing by the restaurant for months, I finally decided to try the food and I am glad I did. I eat here at least three times a week and love everything about this place. If I could, I would give it more stars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Réservez une table maintenant

I have had a pizza at a lot of places in Parkville and this is hands down the best pizza I have had in the area. Fast, friendly and delicious! What else could you want? We will definitely be back Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You can't go wrong with the Spaghetti Special on Mondays at this restaurant. For a very reasonable price, you get a generous portion of spaghetti served with garlic bread and a side salad. It's a fantastic deal worth trying out.
