Giumarello's Restaurant And G Bar Lounge

My daughter and I just visited this place. Our experience started with the worst impression of their valet boy. Even though they offer “complimentary valet parking” for their customers, the valet boy sent us to park out in street with no excuse or reason. Although we followed his instructions because we thought the place worth it… Cocktails were fine. Prices were fine. But in general it was our First and last time! Good that we didn’t visit the place with a big party of friends, it would be a big disappointment. Definitely Not worth our time and money, there are many better places in area to go!

What a pathetic birthday dinner experience I had there, for my first time tonight. It took us an hour to get our salads from when we ordered. Without even a glance from our waiter or the busboys buzzing around. More water? No. More bread? No. When you are getting upwards of $60 a head without alcohol, a certain level of service should be expected. My blackened ribeye was terrible with cold potatoes, my girlfriend's tiny $50 filet with a scattering of diced potatoes was cold. Whoever was in charge of the restaurant between 3:30 and 6 should find something else to do.

I ordered some appetizers for takeout to try this restaurant, but the experience was disappointing. The person who took my order seemed uninterested and bothered. The calamari was overcooked and had a rubbery texture. The lobster bisque tasted more like tomato purée with just a few bits of lobster meat. I also paid $14 for a single meatball accompanied by a scoop of ricotta cheese. Overall, I spent around $30-$50 for dinner, and I would rate the food and service both at a 2 out of 5.

The food is fantastic, this review is about the customer service. I called 20 minutes before they opened and explained that I needed a gift card and this is the only time I had to get it. They explain to me that they open at one and they will not open the door for me until 1 o’clock. Not only will I buy my gift card elsewhere. I will never spend a dollar there again. Ridiculous. Sat outside and had great old fashioned, then had the black and clue burger. The burger was done perfectly and it wasn't messy to eat. I highly recommend the old fashioned Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
