The restaurant and all their staff on shift were Absolutely brilliant last night . We booked dinner for a family anniversary celebration. We had 2 young kids there who were quite noisy , thankfully we were at a table were there was not as many other diners there . The food was absolutely delish the steaks were cooked to perfection and exactly how we asked for them so a big thankyou to the chef . The views are stunning from the restaurant . Restaurant was spotless . Would return again for a meal . Thankyou vista
We are at Vista twice during our recent stay and absolutely loved the experience! I love that they seat couples near the window for a relaxing and romantic setting with the beautiful views from the restaurant. They were very accommodating and staff were friendly. The chicken liver parfait was really nice but could have done with an extra slice of toast/brioche potentially. The sticky toffee pudding with rum raisin ice-cream is an absolute must!
We visited the Resturant tonight and had a great meal. We were greeted by David who showed us to a table with an amazing view. The Cullen Skink soup was a great start to the meal followed by a lovely venison dish. The service from Masha and Georgia was very attentive and friendly. The drinks from David and Nathan were amazing including fresh cocktails. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the visit!
Me and my partner are staying here for a night away for my birthday and have been well looked after through the whole stay, all staff are very polite and freindly in the hotel and spa, i would highly recomend the vista for a amazing meal and the barman that was on shift (gary) was exemplary on his service and was well clued up when it came to serving a good dram!

This was my first time at this venue and decided to take some friends for dinner and was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the food very good. I would love to have been their in the summer to see the amazing views across the river, so definitely will be going back in the summer months.
Breakfast was fantastic and great choices available. Room service was awful, didn’t receive my drink or dessert and was impossible to get through to the restaurant to get the issue sorted. Asked for well done steak it was medium rare, and no condiments or salt provided which was a waste.
Living locally, I decided to visit this restaurant having been badly let down by another restaurant in the area (further down the hill at the coast of the Clyde). Wow what a difference, quality food in a relaxing atmosphere with top notch unobtrusive service. Keep up the good work.
The guy Gary on the bar, was the most genuine helpful guy in this place, nothing was to big or too small to ask of him. I would be back again just to be served by him. This guy knows his stuff and definitely deserves a promotion. Thanks once again Gary!

Ate here Fri and Saturday lunch and evening meal all the food was cooked to perfectionWe had vegetarian and gluten free in our party and all were catered for. The different varieties of soup were amazing and tasty
Had an evening meal and breakfast here.Excellent friendly service but not intrusive. Delicious food and wine, really enjoyable dinner. Great breakfast everything you could want.
