We had a lovely evening meal in the bar area. There was a clear focus on Covid 19 safety measures with temperature checks on entry and plenty of space between tables. Food was lovely, we tried soup, venison pate and duck terrine as starters which were all delicious. Most of our group then had rib eye which were cooked excellently, my fiance was especially pleased with his warm blue steak. Staff were very friendly, attentive and polite. Venue has a nice calm ambience.
Booked a table ahead of our visit to the area, glad we did as it was busy on the day we visited. Good procedures being followed with Covid -19 door was locked so controlling who was in and outside, took temperature and shown to table. Good choice on menu and we had several different items, all were lovely presented, very good quality food and clean plates all round. Lovely surroundings and well worth a visit.
Really delightful service from the new barmaid. We popped by here on a cold damp Friday afternoon. The hotel is very pleasant with comfortable surrounding. We ended up sitting by the wood turning stove chatting with the new barmaid who is a great asset to the place. We had a tasty fish and chips and goats cheese salad. The prices are reasonable for a hotel on the nc500. I’d recommend the place.
I received a very warm welcome at this restaurant and found the food and service to be outstanding. The team was great, very friendly and helpful. What a fantastic discovery in Glenfinnan! The hotel staff is exceptional, the food and service are top-notch. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. You have the choice of dining at either the restaurant or the bar.
We stopped here for a warm lunch on our visit to the Viaduct. The food was delicious with a good selection of vegetarian options too. The staff was very hospitable and there is a good selection of spirits behind the bar as well.
Well-sourced ingedients superbly cooked by all the kitchen team. They do take non-resident bookings, so, if you're in the area, make a bee-line for this restaurant. Possibly the best scallops I've ever eaten.
Absolutely fantastic take away fish and chips. Generous portions and freshly made. Phoned in and pick up time arranged. No hassle what do ever and just the job after a day on the beach. Réservez une table maintenant

"Liver and onions was creamy and tasty. This is a quiet small hotel restaurant and a very nice menu. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately store bought and just average but enjoy the main course."
