Glenfinnan Station Museum Dining Car

Been coming here for a long time and we have love it but unfortunatly they have changed things by taking away some of the seating along with the character also the menu has also changed not for the better bring back the soup and sandwiches deal . The coffee was cold and when we complained and was told it was as hot as it was going to get !! We will not be back !!

We had booked and glad we did, as the good weather had brought the crowds out! Had the soup of the day and some special fries! Food was great, staff were lovely. We even bought a bottle of the Glenfinnan Gin that they had produced themselves! A great experience!

Over priced, open sandwich only had one slice of bread, food was lovely in quality but my husband’s coffee was cold. When he mentioned it to the waitress she offered to get him another but another server piped up with ‘that’s as hot as it gets’ -so rude!!

We visit this Dining Car after visiting Glenfinnan Viaduct. Great place to visit for lunch, the decoration and the atmosphere is unique, we had ordered soups and sandwiches that were perfect. You can combine dining Car with Station Museum

This would have easily got 5 if the staff didn’t roll their eyes at me whilst taking an order. Quaint, different and busy. The carrot cake we all had were tasty and moist. Lucky to get a table on a busy/rainy day.
