This place is awesome. You have to put a little effort into shopping here, bagging things and finding containers at home for items you're used to getting packaged, but you'll save a ton of money (plus it's environmentally friendly). I come here once in a while to stock up on pantry items like dried beans, whole wheat pastry flour, vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, nuts, dried fruit, herbs and spices. I'm always stunned by how low my bill is. It's pretty easy to get to with public transportation, metro to rhode island ave and then a short bus ride. If I lived closer I'd come here way more often for things like the fresh local, bulk organic tofu and the insanely good vegan ice cream made...

in a city like dc, where many people are transient, glut has the right idea. it is as structured as any traditional Co-Ob. there is a huge selection of bulky dry and liquid, as well as a large selection of dried fresh fruits. they have local milk and cheese that is difficult to find in dc. in the ground it is all the sensibilities that a more conscious eater could ever want, but they realize that she offered to be here forever and not charge for membership. the prices are not only appropriate for a special market, they are also only good for dc in general. not much parking you drive by bike or take the G8 on rhode island.

I only come here once in a while since they’re overpriced. People here are really helpful and friendly though really slow. They have stuff like vegan milk, vegan cheese, vegan ice cream, and vegan burgers. They have some interesting stuff like vegan fish or shrimp although I never tried them since they are quite expensive. Réservez une table maintenant

As always when I come to D.C., I have to look for some place to get everything I need. When visiting a friend, he told me about this place oh my goodness. I found everything I needed then some plus took some things back to Charlotte with me. This will definitely be my staple when visiting D.C. again.

I was still so fond of being here when I lived down here, and I still love to visit. large vegan products for cooking, snacking, fast eating and self-catering. it is not the largest place, but they will probably find what they need.

I used to love coming down here when I lived down here, and I still love to visit. Great vegan items for cooking, snacking, quick eats, and self-care. It’s not the biggest place, but you’ll most likely find what you need.
